I haven’t really had time to work on anything lately. That’s a lie, I’ve had time, I’ve just been SO LAZY. But today I finally got to work on a 1/24 slot car that I’ll be racing this Friday:

We all bought these great H&R chassis, and my buddy bought a box of vintage modified circle track style bodies from a guy at a yard sale. Combine them, and this is what you get.

I had originally painted this car orange, but it looked so boring. So I went over that with gold, masked the roof, and painted the rest maroon. All the paints are Tamiya spray lacquer, which is my go-to for this stuff.

The car will get a flat black lexan interior tray, a driver, engine, and decals. I think it’s looking pretty good already, so I’m looking forward to getting it done and racing it.
